applebee's - this is crazy

watching the bruins play right now and was forced to watch a commercial for applebee's (i fucking hate commercials). for shits and giggles i thought i'd check out nutritional info for some of the stuff applebee's sells. wow...

We do not provide nutritional information on other Applebee's® items - with approximately 1,900 locations in the U.S. alone there are many different vendors, which makes it extremely difficult to obtain nutritional information for our items.

yeah man- while I give them the thumbs up for sporting the $3 appetizers back when I was just learning how to drive- the last time I was there I asked the waitress where they got their chicken from, and even tho i asked twice, she went to ask someone, and came back pretending I never asked. lol That was about the last time I went there. ;) One of the things I love about boulder is many of the local restaurants tell you where they are getting their meat and produce from. With some, its listed in the front page of the menu. Pretty neat.
Can't eat out at restaurants anymore…Had too many experiences like the one NMD just described….I always ask where the meat comes from…and there is never an answer…Time to raise my own chickens and go fishing, I guess.
